Koji Asakura
After working for a bank and a logistics company, Koji was engaged in international exchange and policy research at Keizai Doyukai (Japan Association of Corporate Executives) from 1991 to 2001. During this period, he was transferred to the Cabinet, where he was involved in the preparation of the reorganization of ministries and agencies as an Assistant Counselor. After obtaining MBA, he worked for foreign pharmaceutical and medical device companies from 2003 to 2022, where he was in charge of healthcare policy and government relations. He is a National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter, and has a license for U.S. Certified Public Accountant (inactive).
Takeo Morooka
After graduating from Kyoto University School of Medicine, Takeo worked as a plastic surgeon at Kobe City Central Municipal Hospital, etc. He joined the Ministry of Health in 1998, graduated from Harvard School of Public Health in 2001, and was transferred to the WHO Geneva Headquarters as a liaison officer in 2002. In 2005, he was released from his secondment from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) and joined WHO Geneva as a medical officer. He has worked at International University of Health and Welfare since 2007, Covidien Japan K.K. since 2010, and MSD K.K. since 2015, each in senior management positions. As of October 2021, he has started and managed five companies including Japan Medical Isotope, Inc. and PH Consulting, LLC.
Junta Asai
Junta worked for a consulting firm with a wide range of clients from foreign companies in the IT, financial, pharmaceutical, food, and energy sectors. In 2009, he became Representative Director of New Era Strategy Institute, Inc. and in 2013, Director of GR Japan K.K., a public policy advisory firm conducting research, planning, and public policy advisory services for government agencies, companies, and organizations. In August 2021, he was appointed President and Representative Director of Japan Counselors Inc. and in January 2023, he was appointed President and Representative Director of Big Picture Co.
